Book Your Appointment Read More >>

The Canadian Experience Class program allows international students and foreign workers to become permanent residents if they have worked in Canada for a minimum of 12 months full-time or 24 months part-time. The program recognizes the valuable skills and experiences gained while in Canada and provides a pathway to permanent residency.

Express Entry is a system for managing applications for Canadian permanent residency. Candidates are ranked based on factors such as age, education, work experience, and language ability. CIC invites the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residency.

CEC Minimum Requirements

The Candidate Must:

  • Have 1 year of full-time or 2 years of part-time work experience in NOC 0, A, or B within 3 years prior to applying,
  • Meet required language proficiency levels as tested,
  • Plan to reside outside of Quebec

Please Note:

  • Experience gained while being a full-time student will not be taken into account for work experience.
  • It is important to note that simply possessing the necessary work experience and submitting an application through Express Entry does not guarantee selection. Priority will be given to applicants with the highest scores in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Tool.
