The Nova Scotia Nominee program offers multiple streams for professionals from various backgrounds. Determining the appropriate stream and comprehending its application requirements is crucial for a successful application. Some streams require a minimum score of 67 points.

Requirements for Employers:

• The business must have a permanent establishment in Nova Scotia
• The business must have been operating in Nova Scotia for at least 2 years under current management
• The employer must have a good history of workplace and business practices
• The employer must be compliant with all laws and regulations
• The employer must make a full-time, permanent job offer to the candidate:
  • NOC Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B
  • Located in Nova Scotia
  • Compensation package meets provincial standards and wage rates
  • Position is in shortage of qualified residents or citizens
  • Not contravening any agreements or in disputes
• The employer must show satisfactory recruitment efforts for the position with a citizen or resident.
